Chamber Ambassadors
Meet the movers, shakers, and smile-makers of the Chamber! This lively crew keeps members connected, helps newcomers feel right at home, and proudly spreads the word about all things Chamber. You’ll spot our Ambassadors at events like Business After Hours, Membership Meetings, grand openings, and ribbon cuttings—always ready with a warm welcome and a friendly handshake. For many new members, these energetic Ambassadors are the first friendly faces they meet when joining the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce!
Let us know if you'd like to join the Ambassador Team. The group meets at Grounded Coffee every other month on the 3rd Tuesday at 9 AM.
Examples of Activities
- Serve as mentors to new members, ensuring they get the maximum value from their membership
- Attend Business After Hours
- Attend Ribbon Cuttings
- Volunteer at Annual Chamber Events
Requirements
- Must be an employee of a current member in good standing of the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce.
- Must receive permission from business owner/manager/governing board to represent employer as a Chamber Ambassador.
- A willingness to make time and necessary to give the proper attention to Chamber responsibilities.
- Attend Ambassador meetings.
- Always promote the Chamber in a positive manner.
Expectations & Responsibilities
- Actively participate and assist at networking events, i.e. BAH, Ribbon Cuttings, Breakfasts and Luncheons.
- Assist with soliciting members, sponsors and/or serve as a sponsor.
- Promote and spread the word about Chamber events
Volunteer Committee
The Volunteer Committee is all about giving back and making a difference! This dedicated group supports local non-profits by organizing hands-on volunteer projects each quarter. Through community-wide efforts the committee brings Chamber members together to lend a helping hand where it’s needed most.
